Three weddings and a funeral director

It’s been nearly six months since I added anything to this blog and that’s partly because I’ve been so busy. I’ve lost count of the websites I’ve been working on but when I’ve had chance I’ve also been working on a new design for my own website. So here it is all shiny and new!

This has also been a summer of weddings — hence the title of this post. First my sister in Newquay, then my cousin in York and finally my best friend got married in France where I made a very nervous best man speech.

Anyway, let’s get back to business and talk about a few exciting website design projects — some of which are still work in progress:

  • Northwest Accessible is a building firm based in Stockport which specialises in making adaptations to the homes of disabled people and I’m close to finishing their brand-new brochure website.
  • GastroGolf provides bespoke golfing holidays with a gastronomic twist! Their brochure website is also nearly done and will provide potential customers with lots of info about the services they can offer.
  • ThePoP.co.uk is the brainchild of one of the country’s top sport psychologists, Paul Russell. He lectures at Bolton university and has also worked with sports people at all levels including Premier League footballers and a WBA heavyweight champion boxer. ThePoP is a subscription-based magazine website with a social network built in and will be launched on October 1st 2013.
  • Oh yeah, did I mention a funeral director? I’d also like to welcome Carl and Nicky Howard from Howard’s Funeral Directors aboard the good ship Leeming Design.
